For the launch of 1. FSV Mainz 05's new alternate jersey, Altbau had the pleasure of designing and producing the campaign video and image material.

Mainz 05 came to us with a clear demand and we responded with a concept that draws on the distinctive imagery of the 90s without slipping into pure nostalgia. Instead, we worked together to develop an aesthetic that references the decade but is clearly anchored in the present.

The close collaboration with the merchandising team was particularly exciting. Decisions were made quickly, image and video ideas were developed together and repeatedly reviewed with one central question in mind: How can we showcase the new jersey in a way that appeals to both fans and the club? Our in-house studio and Goldmarie in Mainz provided the perfect setting for this.​

The end result is a campaign that was just as much fun for us as a team as it is to look at.
